Emmy Rossum Designs a Bag for Elie Tahari

He asked her to design a bag for him. The Emmy bucket bag is essentially her ideal bag and she was very hands on in the design process. It comes in four sizes and is at $398 to $798. The bags will be available in March and a portion of all proceeds will go to the Safe Horizon charity. [via]

SAG Awards Red Carpet Gown 2011

Some of our favorite looks from the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards 2011 held at The Shrine Auditorium on January 30, 2011 in Los Angeles, California. Let’s start off with some gorgeous white and off-white dresses, shall we?

And the winners are — Natalie Portman, who was named best actress for her performance in Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan, attended the 2011 SAG awards in a white Azzaro strapless gown which showed off her pregnant belly nicely. We prefer this look to the Viktor & Rolf she wore to the 2011 Golden Globes. Eva Longoria in a Georges Hobeika creation with plunging neckline, Winona Ryder in a strapless Alberta Ferretti ball gown and Lea Michele in a sleek Oscar de la Renta sheath (boy, does she know how to work a gown!).

I arrived on the Northshore yesterday. The surf was 6-7 foot and kinda junkie. So, we just chilled out and drank corona's. Over night the surf bumped up to over 15 foot. Guess I'm gonna do some work around the Gillard's house and wait for the surf to drop.... Something you never say in Cali. Usually it's the other way around... We wait for the surf to rise.
